Summary:

The Operations Supervisor serves as the front-line connection between business success and customer experience through enabling top associate performance and operational results. Casts a positive shadow as a leader; by consistently demonstrating and advocating our values.

Coaches and Develops for Success 50%
– Deliberate presence on distribution floor to build operational awareness and associate relationships

– Recognizes associates direct feedback and recognition programs

– Conducts method observations for all associates

– Coaches associates to maximize performance using established coaching methods, focusing on behaviors and results that drive learning andperformance

– Follows-up with associates to assess progress on action plans and determine next steps

– Conducts Monthly Performance Reviews with each associate

– Administers and manages the corrective action process when necessary

Successfully Drives Objectives 20%
– Manages and drives business objectives; develops and executes to achieve results, remains agile to adapt to change.

– Develops and implements the appropriate labor plan based on forecasted units and hours

– Monitors Warehouse Management (WM) system and associated outputs; handles related issues

– Proactively monitors, communicates and reacts to departmental changes/issues

– Ensures problems are solved within scope; elevates issues that require additional authority or support

– Continuously seeks to improve systems, processes and methods

– Identifies opportunities for innovation

Fosters an Open Culture where Associates are Connected and Our Values are Displayed 20%

– Devotes focused time and energy to establishing and maintaining relationships with associates

– Connects with each associate daily; sustains a high level of visibility and approachability

– Enables an energizing and fun culture by showing appreciation, recognition and positive reinforcement

Completes the Essential Administrative Tasks – 10%

-Generates, reviews, validates and actions reports including Labor Management (LM), Kronos, departmental productivity/accuracy, safety and other reports
-Prepares for weekly meetings

Qualifications

Qualifications

-Bachelor”s degree in related field or equivalent experience.

-2-3 years of distribution or management experience.

-Experience leading non-exempt associates
