McLean 2 (19052), United States of America, McLean, VirginiaDirector, Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging Learning & DevelopmentThe Director of Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging Learning & Development will lead the learning strategy and execution to build skills and capabilities across the company. This individual will build and manage a team of professionals to build, source, and implement best in class learning solutions. The Director and their team will work to understand needs across all business lines, while bringing deep expertise in Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging (DIB) and adult learning practices, to deliver the best solutions.This Director will lead the build of exceptional performance-based learning solutions that support our vision and strategy and will have the opportunity to champion, influence, reimagine, and refine the impacts of learning throughout the company.  This position calls for a leader who is a strategic forward-thinker, problem solver, and relationship builder who is adept at innovating while managing risk and exercising good judgment.Key Responsibilities:Build, lead and develop a team of learning professionals to develop innovative training solutions that will advance our DIB skills and expertise across the companyPartner with business leaders, HR partners, and L&D teammates to build best DIB learning strategies and experiences that meet people where they are and bring them forward on their journeyLead the development and implementation of learning initiatives in support of key DIB prioritiesDevise and implement a clear and consistent learning assessment model to measure results short term and long termLeverage deep expertise in DIB and adult learning to inform the learning strategy and products Develop and maintain relationships with external training vendors and DIB expertsCommunicate with and influence leadership at all levelsCreate and manage a company-wide learning budgetStrong problem-solving capabilitiesProven track record in prioritizing competing prioritiesProven ability to influence and drive changeApplied expertise in facilitating discussions on difficult topics, and coaching others in this areaCollaboration skills including the ability to integrate and act upon diverse perspectivesProactive management of risks, applying sound judgment and business acumenBasic Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree or military experienceAt least 5 years of experience in client consulting At least 5 years of experience in diversity, inclusion and belongingAt least 5 years of experience in Learning & DevelopmentAt least 5 years of experience in people managementAt least 5 years of experience in project managementPreferred Qualifications:Master’s DegreeAt least 10 years of experience in Learning & DevelopmentAt least 10 years of experience in people managementAt least 7 years experience in diversity, inclusion and belonging At least 7 years of experience in project management (planning, executing, tracking)At least 5 years of experience in driving multi-year, company-wide learning endeavorsCertified Executive CoachAt this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.
