Currently, we are seeking a Category Development Analyst (CDA) for our Kimberly-Clark Kroger Business Team in the Cincinnati, OH area.

The CDA reports to the Sr.

Team Leader
– Category Management and partners with their Sr.

Customer Business Partner to drive Category, Dollar Share, Net Sales and Contribution Growth within trade spending guidelines.

The CDA interacts with many different disciplines, including Shopper Insights, Shopper Marketing, Finance and Supply Chain.
The CDA is the primary contact with Kroger regarding Assortment.

The CDA is the lead in developing the Category Strategy Plan, which will drive the Strategies and Tactics necessary to grow the Category.

Overall, the CDA provides Category Development expertise, in-depth analysis and shopper/consumer insights for Kroger and the Kimberly-Clark Kroger Business Team in order to make business building recommendations and deliver break through presentations.

Promotion Analysis is a key element of the position as well.

Proficiency in Category Management and Insights is typically developed through at least two years of experience in Category Management, Insights and Customer Development via positions of increasing responsibility.

Qualifications:
*Bachelor’s degree required
* Experience with Kroger’s Go to Market Strategies and Systems, especially Dunnhumby Shop and Shelf Review Tools
* Nielsen Expertise
* New Item Tracking Experience
* Solid knowledge of PC based applications (Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required.
* Must have sound communication and interpersonal skills and communicate with enthusiasm and impact.
* Comprehend, communicate and respond to inquiries on a planned and ad hoc basis.
* Ability to relocate within the sales organization; inability to relocate may limit career opportunities.
Travel may include up to 3-4 hours per day, 3-5 days a week of work time.

Travel may also include business travels via airplane to various locations.

May include prolong periods of sitting, typing, viewing computer/laptop screens, along with occasional bending, reaching, lifting, carrying, climbing, twisting, stooping and standing.
