Test Engineer (1st Shift)

We are experienced in all facets of electronic test including digital/analog/RF circuitry and a wide variety of controls, sensors, and data buses.

Job Description

Develop Test Programs in NI LabVIEW, LabWindows/CVI, and TestStand development environments, design hardware interface test adapters, and generate associated technical documentation. Test setup is used to accomplish automatic test of electronic/avionics units for a wide range of industries.

Responsibilities:

· Analyze avionics/electronics for testability

  • Perform processing of analysis and test data to validate and verify components and integrated systems meet specifications and design requirements
  • Generate test procedures for unit functional test and diagnostics
  • Develop Test Program Set (TPS) consisting of the following:
  • Test Program (TP) to perform automated test in accordance with test requirements and test system programming/style guide
  • Electro-mechanical design of Interface Device (ID)/Interface Test Adapter (ITA) and Unit Under Test (UUT) interconnect cables
  • Develop technical documentation to document design and operation of the test hardware and software
  • Integrate test hardware and software on Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) to achieve desired test capability
  • Perform integration, test, and validation of designs
  • Troubleshoot subsystem and system level anomalies
  • Conduct field installation checkout, commissioning, and training for Customer personnel

Requirements:

· BSEE/BSET

· Proficient in NI LabVIEW, LabWindows/CVI, and TestStand development environments

· Knowledge of safety and quality standards and ESD-safe procedures

· Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills

· Good decision-making skills

· Perform detail-oriented work with a high degree of accuracy on multiple projects

· Ability to work independently as and part of a collaborative team with minor supervision required

· Proficient in use of Microsoft products

Preferred:

· Previous test programming and electronic design/test experience

· Knowledge of automated test equipment (ATE) and data acquisition systems

· LM-Star, CASS, or eCASS test station experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 – $50.00 per hour
