The Opportunity 

Delaware North Sportservice is searching for seasonal game day Porters to join us at Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati, Ohio. As a game day Porter, you will be responsible for maintaining inventory and delivering product orders to various game day catering areas.

Minimum pay rate: $14.35 / hour

Responsibilities 

• Verifies and delivers food, beverage, and other products to catering areas prior to the event and throughout the event, in an efficient and timely manner.
• Sets up assigned catering areas prior to the event to ensure proper items are in place and function.
• Cleans catering areas and assists with set-up/clean-up duties, as needed.
• Keeps work area and equipment neat and clean.
• Checks on catering areas for proper food and beverage inventory levels, replenish, as needed.
• Stocks product in storage areas; ensures inventory levels of supplies are maintained; rotate stock to reduce spoilage.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Empties trash containers and delivers trash to appropriate dumpsters if needed.
• Trains others on job duties and company procedures.

Qualifications 

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work cooperatively with others.
• Ability to read and interpret delivery forms and purchase orders.
• Basic math skills for counting inventory.
• Ability to follow job procedures and supervisor instructions.

Physical Requirements 

• Ability to lift/move/maneuver up to 165 lbs.
• Ability to pull heavy carts of stock throughout the facility.
• Ability to train to properly use equipment.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, lifting and reaching, during the entire length of shift.
