Job Description

A large manufacturing company is seeking an Order Entry Clerk who will receive and process incoming parts orders, review orders, update and maintain files, and assist with administrative duties. Work orders are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Responsibilities:
Receive and process parts orders into SAP and review for accuracy and completeness
Assist with customer communication to provide price and availability for parts; verify product pricing, order total, and parts description
Ensure delivery by specified date; coordinate with Shipping Department
Check inventory levels
Communicate with carriers or truck lines to expedite or trace missing or delayed shipments
Process credit memos or return goods authorizations
Assist with special projects as needed

Job Requirements

Qualifications:
Must have a High School Diploma or GED
Experience in Office Administration is preferred
Must have accurate order entry and computer skills; SAP experience is a plus
Must be able to pay a high attention to detail, prioritize work load, and meet deadlines
Must have strong organizational and communication skills
