Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Permanent Trademark Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in US Patent and Trademark Laws, and a proven track record of success in trademark law. This is a permanent position that offers excellent benefits and opportunities for growth and advancement.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct trademark clearance searches and provide legal advice on trademark availability and infringement issues
• Prepare and file trademark applications with the USPTO
• Prosecute trademark applications and respond to office actions
• Manage trademark portfolios and enforce trademark rights through oppositions, cancellations, and litigation
• Draft and negotiate trademark license agreements and assignments
• Provide legal advice on trademark use and branding issues
• Conduct due diligence on trademark matters in mergers and acquisitions
• Stay up-to-date on changes in US Patent and Trademark Laws and advise clients on the impact of these changes on their trademark rights

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to practice law in at least one state
• 3+ years of experience in trademark law, including experience with US Patent and Trademark Laws
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with trademark litigation is a plus
