Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement control systems for manufacturing processes, including PLC programming, HMI development, and robot programming.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with control systems, including electrical, mechanical, and software problems.
• Develop and maintain documentation for control systems, including schematics, manuals, and software programs.
• Collaborate with production team to identify areas for improvement and implement innovative solutions to increase productivity, reduce downtime, and improve product quality.
• Conduct training sessions for production team on control systems and equipment operation.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in control systems and automation.

What you need for this position:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a Controls Engineer role in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of PLC programming, HMI development, and robot programming.
• Experience with automation equipment, including Fanuc, Cognex, IRVision, Allen Bradley, and Siemens.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other software tools used for control system design.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
