Desktop Support Technician Location Arlington Heights, IL Duration Long-Term Contract If you are interested in this opportunity, please e-mail your resume to Desktop Support Technician Description Responsible for the completion of short-term IT engineering projects.

Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures.

Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

Performs a variety of tasks including physical site survey, moving cable connections in LAN Room, and physically moving equipment to our Warehouse.

Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.

Conducts tasks and assignments as directed.

Works under moderate supervision with some latitude for independent judgment.

This contractor will support the CHIRR redesign efforts as well as the contact center agents returning to the building.

Tasks to be performed Automated imaging of PC equipment, Installation and removal or PC equipment, inventory and movement of PC equipment.

Physical work, WIN7WIN10, Automated HPCASCCM12 deployment processes.

Can lift over 45lb.

Candidate must be flexible with work hours, work location and travel schedule.

Skillset Details PC migrationdeployment experience.

WIN7WIN10 Automated imaging tools HPCASCCM12 (or similar tools) Data Migration, Outlook configuration, IP Configuration.

Very good communication skills, very good troubleshooting skills, very good organization time management skills, very good customer serviceinteraction skills.

Physical ability to move heavy equipment to and from deployment sites.
