Credentialing Coordinator

This is a Full-time position in Cleveland, OH posted November 8, 2021.

A health care facility is seeking a specialist to manage all aspects of company’s credentialing and re-credentialing verification process, ensure all records are up-to-date and meet all standards, assist with coordinating placements, and perform other duties. Work hours for this position are Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Job Responsibilities:

· Set-up and maintain Employee Credentialing Records ensure appropriate processing and logging of credentialing information

· Perform data entry and monitor verification and database maintenance

· Aid Credentialing Committee to ensure completion of credentialing, re-credentialing requirements and evaluate work prioritization and assignments

· Initiate and maintain positive relationships with patients, customers, and co-workers, develop and support a learning environments, assist with research and entry and scanning of data into database

· Maintain knowledge of legal requirements and regulations affecting HR functions and ensure all policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance

· Maintain internal credentialing files to ensure all licenses, certifications, and documents are current

· Provide administrative support to HR Department

· Perform other duties as needed

Job Requirements:

Qualifications:

·       Must have a High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor’s Degree is strongly preferred

·       Current NAMSS CPCS Certification preferred; obtain CPCS Certification within three years of meeting eligibility requirements

·       Must have entry-level human resources experience in healthcare or social services, or 1 year college and a minimum of 3 years related experience, or a minimum 3 years working directly in healthcare credentialing

·       Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, web maintenance, and database management

·       Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills

·       Must have the ability to pay a high attention to detail, multi-task, organize workload, set priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently

·       Must have strong interpersonal, coaching, customer service, analytical, problem solving, critical thinking, and decisive judgement skills

·       Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion is required

·       Must be able to deal with stressful situations

·       Must have the ability to abide by all written policies and procedures
