Assistant Teaching Professor, Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Bowling Green State University. Full-time, academic year, renewable appointments. Competitive salary with full benefits.
Duties include: Teach the Quantitative Reasoning course and other mathematics and statistics courses, depending on qualifications and department need; provide service to the department, college, and/or university.
Minimum qualifications: The successful candidate must have fulfilled all the program requirements of a masters’ or doctoral degree in mathematics, statistics, or in a closely related field (e.g., mathematics education), before December 15th, 2020; have teaching experience in a Math Emporium as instructor of record; experience teaching elementary statistics, college algebra, and quantitative reasoning as an instructor of record.
Preferred Qualification: experience teaching online courses.
Starting date: January 11, 2021.
