Application Engineer

ITS - Integrated Talent Strategies

This is a Full-time position in Perrysburg, OH posted March 21, 2021.

Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) is seeking an Application Engineer with CAD experience to work in the Toledo, OH area. This position offers a variety of great benefits, including health insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.

Responsibilities

  • Generate schematics for jobs based upon a layout and input from their manager
  • Modify schematics of existing systems.
  • Update schematics based upon changes made in the shop or field
  • Draw, organize, and requisition brackets for electrical devices on machinery and conveyor
  • Continuously update project schedules to maintain progress
  • Provide cost quotes
  • Generate purchase orders for parts based upon schematics and input from their manager
  • Support Sales Team and Project Managers
  • Create a workbook for the shop assemblers that have all of the necessary schematics and tags that they will need to assemble a component or system.
  • Assist in the development of manuals for systems
  • Help organize and maintain electrical standards as they relate to schematics and other facets of the electrical engineering team
  • Help organize and maintain file structure on the network for the electrical engineering department
  • Help manage the workflow from engineering through production and into the field
  • When their manager is traveling, keep jobs moving through the office acting as the interface between their manager and the team executing the work
  • Work with customers to understand their needs and communicate those to the team
  • Collaborate with others to establish timelines and budgets, as well as solve problems

Education/Experience/Skills

  • Bachelor Degree Mechanical Engineer or equivalent related experience
  • Strong 3-5 years of AutoCAD and Inventor experience
  • Demonstrated organizational skills with emphasis on documentation
  • Ability to gather requirements, write specifications, test plans, and application notes
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Strong relationship and team-building skills; Including conflict resolution
  • Individual must be proactive, high energy and have strong problem solving skills
