We have developed a reputation of providing quality services based on our commitment to respecting the individual and in forming strong therapeutic relationships.A Renewed Mind is currently looking for qualified individuals to fill two part time SUD Counselors in Toledo, OH.

Remote work may be available.

Ideal candidates must possess, at minimum, an LSW or with Bachelor’s degree or LPC.

In-house clinical supervision is available.SUMMARYThe SUD Counselor works under the supervision of the Clinical Manager and is responsible for providing treatment planning and counseling in the office or community at locations convenient to the persons served.This is an hourly position with hours and schedule established to complete the required duties.

This position is not exempt from wage and hour regulations as defined by the U.S.

Department of Labor and is therefore granted protections under the Wage and Hour Division of the Fair Labor Standards Act.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONRequired:CDCAPreferred:LSW, LPC or LCDC II or IIIExperience in substance use group and individual counselingMay include internshipESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESProvide ongoing counseling and clinical interventions to a designated group and/or caseload.Provide individual, group and family interventions.Integrate Trauma Informed Care practices while working with persons served.Communicate with relevant internal and external care providers to complete ongoing assessment and to coordinate care.Maintain complete and current clinical records regarding all persons served.Achieve productivity goals as assigned.Maintain an active Ohio certification and/or license, in good standing with the state board.Perform duties in accordance with applicable professional ethics and standards as well as established A Renewed Mind-OhioGuidestone policies.Comply with all state and federal laws regarding protected health information.
