Job DescriptionMagnetech Industrial Services, Inc.Subsidiary of IES Infrastructure Solutions, LLC800 Nave Road, SEMassillon, OH 44646Job Title: Shipping and Receiving ClerkDepartment: Magnetech Industrial Services, Inc.Classification: Non-ExemptPrimary Responsibility:Truck driving, pick up and delivering to Magnetech customer base. Includes proper chaining, tarping of loads up to 12,000 lbs. Medical D.O.T. required (Magnetech will provide).Coordinates/maintain workflow to meet production schedule. Perform material receipt, identification, and control for all incoming and outgoing items. Responsible for checking in UPS packages, inspecting & putting incoming stock away, and taking inventory.Responsibilities and Duties:* Check in and inspect all incoming shipments to ensure correct and undamaged material is received. Put away and or distribute accordingly.* Receive and data entry of all incoming items.* Identify, Inspect and control incoming items per procedures.* Maintain files for the receiving copy of the purchase order.* Process outgoing customer shipments per instructions.* Date stamp and initial all appropriate paperwork.* Initiates Nonconformances for Material & attaches them to nonconforming item.* Insures all tasks are performed utilizing all necessary safety procedures and equipment.* Responsible for maintaining warehouse storage facility, organization and cleanliness.* Ensure apparatus from the motor management warehouse are received and delivered to the appropriate locations including computer documentation and paperwork updating all activity.* Keeps work area in a clean and orderly fashion.* Performs all other duties as assigned including crane operation, load and unloading trucks, forklift operation and driving truck.* Work overtime when necessary, to meet the demand of the customer and/or the company workload. *Individual will be on-call every other weekend as back up driver.** Assist in the preparation of trucking quotations and/or special projects, as required.* Maintain a professional attitude when representing the company during phone, or personal contact with customers, outside vendors, and/or service providers, etc.* Advocate and follow all quality, safety and environmental procedures and report any and all noncompliance.* Provide support for any special projects as assigned. These special projects, at the determination of management, may or may not become part of your primary responsibilities.* Promote continuous improvement (i.e.: employee suggestions, procedural enhancement, etc.).Measures of Success:* Production efficiencies; i.e. low rework, warranty costs work completed at/or under estimated hours.* Customer satisfaction.* Meeting or exceeding customer demand/delivery.Qualifications:* High School Diploma.* Experience with computer applications and SAGE are desirable.* This position requires an individual experienced at receipt inspections and setting up shipments to and from customer sites.* The position demands an individual who is hard working, detail oriented, thorough, and able to work overtime and weekends, as needed, to meet company and customer demands.* Communication & Team skills are also desirable, as some development and ongoing projects involve teams of individuals from different backgrounds within the organization.This job description is not a contract between the company and any person.
