Shipping Clerk

Job Description

We have a position available for a Shipping/Receiving Clerk to work Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Duties:
Pull work/sales orders, move product, and coordinate for outside processing
Ensure correct receipt, documentation, and shipment of product and materials; verify information for accurate processing of invoices and other records
Examine the quality of incoming shipments, reject damaged items, and record and report shortages or discrepancies
Pick, pack, label and prepare customer orders to ensure on-time delivery
Maintain pallet inventory and perform data entry
Contact freight couriers to schedule pick-ups and deliveries
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Perform other duties as needed

Job Requirements

Qualifications:
Must have Shipping/Receiving/Inventory experience
Must have experience using mechanical power tools and operating lift trucks
Must have basic math skills
Must have Microsoft Office skills
Must be able to lift/move up to 35 pounds
Must have the ability to work in a team-oriented environment, build partnerships, and demonstrate positive contributions
Must have the ability to adapt and prioritize assignments in a fast-paced and changing environment
Must have excellent communication and organizational skills
Must have a solid work history with no attendance issues
