Coordinates the pre-award planning, organization, preparation, assembly and submission of research grant and sponsored projects applications to private and public funding agencies and industry.

Coordinates the post-award administration of research grants and sponsored projects including clinical trials.3.

Provides guidance and support to investigators in the identification and development of grant opportunities.

Coordinates with Principal Investigators [PI] and staff on grant development activities; establishes and maintains contact with funding agency representative and conducts funding opportunity search.

Interacts with investigators and administrative staff to ensure that grants are in compliance with regulatory, funding agency, and policy requirements.5.

Other duties as required.Other information:Technical Expertise1.

Experience in grants and sponsored research in health or academic settings is required.2.

Experience in research grant management, budgeting, and accounting is required.3.

Experience in healthcare revenue cycle is preferred.4.

Experience working with all levels within an organization is required.5.

Experience in healthcare is preferred.6.

Proficiency in MS Office [Outlook, Excel, Word] or similar software is required.Education and Experience1.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field is required; Master’s degree is preferred.2.

Certification: None.3.

Years of relevant experience: 3 to 5 years is preferred.4.
