Adecco Creative & Marketing has partnered with a client dedicated to bringing products to the market that improve the quality of patients’ and caregivers’ lives. They are a GLOBAL leader and manufacturer of medical devices and are looking to grow their Marketing team!
Located in Cleveland, OH – this DIRECT HIRE opportunity will require to be on-site.
In this position, you will be planning and implementing marketing and product development programs, both short and long range, targeted toward growing existing and new markets.
What you will be doing:
- Develop and implement strategic marketing plans to achieve corporate objectives for products.
- Oversee and evaluate market research and adjust marketing strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions.
- Monitor competitor products, sales, and marketing activities to provide analysis
- Achieve satisfactory market share in relation to preset standards and industry and economic trends
- Obtain feedback from clinicians and the marketplace on new product ideas or improvements to existing products.
- Develop key relationships with clinicians (particularly gastroenterologists and pediatric surgeons), large home healthcare suppliers, hospitals, distributors, and other strategic partners.
- Develop and manage marketing operating budgets.
- Create/coordinate sales and marketing tools for the company’s products.
- Plan and oversee marketing literature, website, DVDs, advertising, and tradeshow planning.
- Ensure effective control of marketing results, and take corrective action to guarantee that achievement of marketing objectives falls within designated budgets.
- Establish and maintain a consistent corporate image throughout all product lines, promotional materials, and events.
- Develop and recommend product positioning, packaging, and pricing strategy to produce the highest possible long-term market share.
- Coordinate the launch of new products
- Guide preparation of marketing activity reports and present to Senior Management.
- Direct staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control marketing programs.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Thorough understanding of marketing and software for creating materials.
- Business acumen with demonstrated leadership abilities.
- Experience managing a team or direct report
- Strong presentation skills
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, and volume.
- Medical device or pharmaceutical marketing experience preferred
