Position Summary:
Heavy Equipment Operator/Laborer working within the solid waste industry.
Heavy Equipment Operator/Laborer working within the solid waste industry.
- Looking for a construction laborer who can run any size excavator, dozer, skid steer, and off-road truck.
- Candidate must be able to establish grades and then trench in pipe to the established grade.
- Candidate will also need to be willing to labor when needed.
- Construction labor position will require about 50% labor and 50% operating.
- Being familiar with HDPE pipe fusion, pipeline install, and LFG systems is a plus.
Job Conditions for Construction Laborer:
Year- round outdoor field services. 100% landfill work with overnight travel will be required.
Professional Attributes: Candidate should have OSHA 40 or HAZWOPER 40 card. A HS diploma or equivalent and valid driver’s license is required.

Personal Attributes: Candidate for a construction laborer needs to be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions, willing to travel, and have mechanical aptitude. Candidate should be self- motivated who can work both with a team or independently. Position requires to be a self -starter with plenty of initiative and requires little supervision.
Travel: Job is 50% out-of-town travel (Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio, West Virginia, and Tennessee)
