The Corporate Receivable department is currently seeking an associate accountant to join our department to perform receivables accounting, testing, researching and processing for our operations. Your position will evolve as you gain experience and develop your understanding of our organization and the insurance industry, including learning insurance operations, premiums receivable, commissions payable, policy issuance, and reconciliation techniques.


Starting Salary: $60,000+ depending on experience


Be ready to:

  • complete account reconciliations on daily and monthly basis

  • ensure daily and monthly processes are completed and interfaced with financial systems

  • prepare and approve journal entries and check requisitions

  • provide excellent customer service through clear, accurate and friendly interactions with agents, policyholders and/or other associates

  • contribute to change management processes including change request submission, testing and post implementation verification of system change requests

  • conduct, document and understand testing results for system changes and upgrades including verification that general ledger interfaces from billing applications and the corresponding journal entries are correct

  • work and interact regularly with banking partners, payment technology providers, and various internal departments

  • research and forecast billed premiums, deposits, commissions, and collection expenses

  • assist with capturing, measuring and shaping customer transaction behaviors

  • maintain and update procedures

  • participate and contribute to departmental and corporate project initiatives

You’ve earned:
