This dynamic role will hold a leadership role within our fastest growing operation!

This role is hybrid meaning you will have the flexibility to work in the office and remote.

Join a finance team leveraging Business Intelligence and Analytics to drive business results and decisions!

The Financial Analyst will p rovide financial reporting and analysis to provide insight in achieving business goals.

This key role will work with managers on cost reduction efforts and continuous improvement initiatives.

Lead financial reporting along with special projects and reports.

Partner with operations to problem solve operational financial issues to provide insight in achieving performance goals.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance or related degree.One plus years’ finance or accounting business experience.Strong written and verbal communication skills for working with and explaining financial data to employees at a variety of levels in an organization.Strong interpersonal skills in engaging with others and learning their area of the business.Ability to work in and lead teams within the accounting department and cross functionally within the business.Strong analytical skills to gather data from multiple sources and report findings.Ability to take initiative and work independently.Proficiency with advanced features of Microsoft Office software products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Two plus years’ related experience.Experience working with ERP packages.Financial analysis ability such as return on investment, IRR, NPV, and payback analysis.Proven experience in cost accounting.Formal team training with demonstrated success from past team experiences.Six Sigma and/or Lean manufacturing experience.BI& A experience.Tableau and or Alteryx experience.Willingness and ability to reset priorities if business circumstances require.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:Work with managers to prepare annual departmental budgets.

Meet with cost center managers and collect data.

Analyze and provide monthly feedback on actual performance.Complete month-end close responsibilities to ensure timely completion including journal entries and account reconciliation.Provide timely reporting of monthly/quarterly financial results and activity along with analysis of performance variances and trends that can be understood by non-accountants.Prepare financial forecasts including review of SG& A spending, forecasting,and variance analysisPerform operational reporting to support capital spending, adherence to budgets, awareness of cost savings accomplishments, and cost savings opportunities.Develop usable models to perform various business projections.Provide recommendations related to findings from financial analyses and understanding production needs.Support Continuous Improvement and cost savings initiatives.Develop cost estimates for potential new products.Monitor all company assets and maintain capitalizations, disposals, and adjustments.Provide analysis and documentation to external auditors during the year-end audit.Conduct special reporting/projects upon request of Finance Department and other business areas as requested.
